The free Health Fair is what sets the Heartbeat Event apart from other local runs. Medical students and area organizations will offer a wide variety of health information and services, ranging from a sports injury screening clinic to blood pressure and cholesterol screening to dietary advice. There will also be a variety of vendors and different health activities for children.

Kids' Event 2006:

• Bounce House
• Plasticized pathology specimens (i.e. smoker's lung, liver cirrhosis) as a health exhibit for children
• Face painting by the Peds Student Interest Group
