BLACK HISTORY MONTH

In support of the goals of the UC Davis chapter of the Student National Medical Association, the following are annual and on-going activities:

1. Collaboration with and support of the Imani Clinic Board of Directors and The Effort Health Services to facilitate efficient operation of the Imani Clinic in Oak Park.

2. Send groups of students to the National Conference for information, resources gathering, participation in policy making and networking experiences.

3. Continue mentoring activities with undergraduates, MS1s, MS2s, and MS3s providing information, advice and support.

4. Create and maintain a resource file of residency and research opportunities.

5. Continue to host annual Black History Month events during the month of February. Calendar of activities for Black History Month 2011.
