Internal Medicine Student Interest Group
at UC-Davis School of Medicine
The Internal Medicine SIG was created in 2002 by a group of students
interested in educating students about the field of internal medicine.
Purpose
- To facilitate student understanding about Internal Medicine and its subspecialties
- Promote community awareness about Internal Medicine and its subspecialties
- Provide a collegial support group for students interested in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties
- Address issues surrounding the practice of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties
- Promote collaboration and resource utilization among various organization for the advancement of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties
- Resource organization for students with regards to questions about Internal Medicine and its subspecialties
Activities
- We are offering a noon lecture series "Patient Centered Assessment" in Fall of 2002. Come learn about the decision making
process when trying to come up with a differential diagnosis and earn elective credit at the same time. The only requirement
is that you show up!
